The limited 10,049 pieces of digital collectibles - 'The Jian-Jia troupe of Qin Emperor's warriors and horses’ were sold out within 2 weeks!
A quick glimpse of how we integrated the digital interactive mechanism into the Chinese traditional cultural heritage:
#1 Blind box with hidden content
The blind box is the type of packaging that keeps its content hidden. The blind box collection features seven different characters; each was designed with a fashionable style to cater to the young generation's appetite. Additionally, five editions now are on the market and another two hidden editions are accessible to the users who have collected the first five pieces.
#2 Chinese cultural heritage to be photographed with AR
Cooperated with the Modian App (a local entertaining, creative mobile application), the seven-solider digital collectible can be photographed with AR together with users. It marks the first-ever digital collectible that breaks through the virtual and real-life boundaries. It was initially based on the 3D animation technology that allows this digital collectible to be exposed to the public in a more vivid and natural scene.
#3 Collect for the final hidden edition
A digital game will launch on 14th May, which allows users to exchange their collected editions with the two more hidden pieces to make it more interesting. A final big version will appear to the users who gather the whole set of the seven-solider collectible.
Besides, a special event for the “Museum Day of 18th May” will launch on the Modian App, designed with a giveaway surprise featuring another digital collectible of traditional Chinese heritage.
We believe that the digitalized version of the cultural heritage is an efficient and popular medium to pass the traditional Chinese culture to our young generation!
