KFC China has taken localization to the next level by serving authentic local cuisine, northwestern barbecue, which is welcomed among the young generation for their nightlife in the northwestern region. To break the barriers to entry into the saturated local barbecue market, Hylink Xian subsidiary worked closely with KFC China to identify the preferences of young audiences and midnight consumption needs for music and BBQ and to launch the social campaign, which outperformed with a low cost.
